What a year it’s been! We’re proud as punch that we’ve won Best Gastro Bar Food at the Bar of the Year Awards. Myles was at the fabulous awards dinner to accept the trophy on behalf of everyone here at The Tavern. Don’t forget to have a look at it next time you’re in.
Bar of the Year is a big deal! It’s open to all licensed premises in Ireland and is judged by a panel of industry professionals, training and service experts and tourism representatives. In other words the competition is tough and that makes it even sweeter to win.
Earlier in the year we won Best Wild Atlantic Restaurant in the Gold Medal Awards. We’re one of only 32 pubs in the country to feature in the prestigious Michelin Eating Out in Pubs guide and it might not all be over yet – we’ve also been nominated for the national Best Seafood Experience in the Restaurant Association of Ireland Awards.
